New York passed a statute prohibiting the sale of any over-the-counter pills or dietary supplements marketed to support weight loss or muscle building to anyone under 18. The law is set to take effect Monday, April 22, 2024.

To comply with the law, online retailers, and retail stores must require proof of legal age (18 years or older) prior to the consumer taking possession of the covered product. Proof of legal age would be a government-issued photo ID or a school issued ID that must display the date of birth. In-store retailers must physically check the proof of legal age at checkout. For online orders, retailers must use a method of shipping and delivery that requires the recipient to sign for the delivery and provide proof of legal age through a valid government issued photo ID or similar at the actual point of delivery(i.e., in person).

We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this restriction will impose on our many customers who are over the age of 18 in the state of New York; but please know it is out of our hands at this point.

We do not presently have a effective & reliable delivery option available for our customers which can meet the requirements of this new statute, so regardless of our opinion on the regulation, we must comply in order to avoid legal issues with the state of New York and specifically individuals who may be looking to use this new statute as a path to personal financial gain.

In the short team we will be aiming to introduce the ability to purchase at least those of our products that fall outside of this statue, including our best selling product, Planta.
